Strapmaster - High
Volume Production Strapping Machines
The Strapmaster NS was designed primarily for high speed Newspaper
applications that demand a low maintenance and durable strapping machine.
The machine is equipped with conveyor belts, bundle stops, top compactor,
side conditioners, and a bundle sensing device for fully automatic
operation capable of up to 45 bundles per minute.
The Strapmaster CT was designed primarily for high-speed Industrial
applications that demand a low maintenance and durable strapping machine.
The machine is equipped with conveyor belts and a bundle sensing device
for fully automatic operation capable of up to 30 bundles per minute. The
CT model can be equipped with bundle stops and/or a top compactor if
desired.
The Strapmaster MU was designed primarily as a "first position" high
speed strapping machine that will close couple to various stackers for
bindery applications. The machine is equipped with a bundle-sensing
device, bundles stops, top compactor, dual pusher post for a positive
ejection of the bundles, and is capable of up to 55 bundles per minute.
The Strapmaster MC was designed primarily as a "second position" high
speed strapping machine for bindery applications.
The Strapmaster has 40 percent
fewer parts than previous strapping machines. It has no clutches at all. Fewer
parts mean fewer adjustments, fewer wear components, less maintenance and more
reliability. Many of the parts in this machine are oilless, self lubricating,
and virtually maintenance free. Add to this, technologically advanced features,
high quality design and ease of use, and you have a hassle-free strapping
machine that saves you time, saves you money, saves you frustration and gets
your products out on schedule. Simply put, you have Strapmaster.
Key Benefits
High Speed - The Ovalstrapping Strapmaster is capable of handling a
production rate of up to 45 (single strapped) products per minute.
Automatic Strap Feeding - Strap is easily loaded and
automatically fed eliminating the need for complicated, unreliable and slow
automatic coil exchange systems. Strap automatically ejects when coil is
depleted.
Feed & Tension - Directly driven by servo motor - no
couplings, belts, clutches or other power transmission components used. Loop
size and strap tension control for primary tension. Secondary tension is
pneumatically applied and has broad adjustment range for varied applications.
Low bundle detector selects proper tension for small bundles.
Conveyors - Servo driven, the conveyors provide variable
speed, controlled stops and starts and precise bundle placement for
unprecedented bundle handling. Belts are replaceable from either side.
Permanently lubricated bearings and automatically v-tracked and tensioned
belts make conveyors virtually maintenance free.
Control System - Operator controls are located on both
sides of machine for easy access. State of the art microprocessor based
control system integrates servo and other machine controls. Latest surface
mount circuit board technology ensures long life and reliability.
Dual Strap Coils - Allow operators to change coils
quickly and easily. Simplified strap loading path requires no dancer arm to
operate coil brake. Lightweight, high impact,
coil side plates are easy to use and resist bending and breaking
Power - The Ovalstrapping Strapmaster can operate on various
voltages from 208 to 575 V AC, 50 or 60 Hz, Three-Phase power. The machine can
be easily changed for any of these voltages should it becomes necessary. Air
Supply 80 to 100 PSIG.
Maintenance Free Servo Motor Drive - Brush less DC servo
motors power the seal head, conveyor and feed / tension drives replacing wear
prone clutches and brakes. Controlled motion extends life of mechanical
assemblies.
Diagnostic Control - Operational parameters are easily
set with the touch screen display and retained in the system memory. Machine
status is shown on the screen in plain language; no error codes are used.
Sealing Head - Self-lubricating materials throughout
reduce maintenance and adjustments significantly.
Indicator Lights - Inform operator of machine status.
